The Shelby County Speedway was reconfigured from its previous 1/2 mile layout to the new 1/3 mile configuration.
This was completed in the late spring of 2022. It allows us to bring a wider range of classes and events to the facility, provide the fans with tighter, more exciting racing and move the show along quicker.
It also helps save the facility time and money in preparation and maintenance along with reduce tire and fuel costs for racers under normal circumstances.
