Persons under 18 years of age are required to have written permission to compete, signed by their parents or guardian, and witnessed by a notary public. A copy of this document and a copy of birth certificate must be sent to IMCA office prior to competition. All drivers must be at least 16 years of age, except 14-15 year-olds may be licensed for Hobby Stocks and Sport Compacts on tracks 3/8-mile or shorter.

These drivers must furnish a copy of their birth certificate, as well as a NOTARIZED parental consent form - signed by both parents or legal guardians, a recap of their racing experience, and a list of tracks at which they will be competing. These forms are available from IMCA and must be received in the IMCA office and approved prior to any competition - NO EXCEPTIONS.
